It’s very cool to see Slabs on one of our favorite sites, Core77.

Chop chop!
We know many of you have been cooking a lot this holiday season. And if you’re like us, you don’t have a good place to dry and store your cutting boards. Wedged behind the faucet? Awkwardly on a drying rack? Propped up in a cabinet?
Our best product ideas are born from a real need. We combined cutting board storage with a knife rack to make our newest kitchen product, Chops.
Chops consists of two solid wood cutting boards that magnetically connect to two sides of a knife rack. It’s a perfect place to store and dry your cutting boards. Its base keeps the stand stable, with or without cutting boards attached.

Set in Concrete
As designers, we can be terrible to shop for. We can’t buy anything without first giving a quick critique. Recently we were looking for a set of accessories to organize our studio’s desk, and we came up short. We are happy to say that we finally found one:
Introducing our latest *Workshop product, Slabs. Slabs are modular, low-lying desk accessories made with smooth concrete, hand sanded and sealed. There’s a tray for pins and clips, a pen stand, a tape dispenser, and a dock. Each piece is 4” x 4” and 1” tall.
We hope you have a wonderful holiday season. And if you’re looking for a gift for that exacting someone, think about a set of Slabs.
Best,
Rich and Avik
*Workshop products are made in the US. They are produced in small runs and individually numbered.

All Growed Up
When Barnacle came into the world, he was just the right size for iPhone 4. With the 6 and 6 Plus, Barnacle started to look like he was wearing his father’s suit. We are happy to let you know the awkward phase is over. Barnacle 2 has had a bit of a growth spurt and now comfortably fits your larger phones.
We also took the opportunity to update and simplify the color scheme a bit. Get the new Barnacle in bright blue, tangerine orange, and classic black.
Speaking of things that needed an update, we are happy to finally take the wraps off of our website’s third major iteration. Give it a test drive and buy lots of stuff…you know, just to make sure everything works properly.
New Product Coming Soon!
A bit of a teaser for a new product we hope to launch very soon. This photo makes it look a bit like a painting by one of our favorite artists, Jerry Inscoe.
Measure Twice, Cut Once
Hi all,
Today we are launching two new Workshop products!
First up is a leather wristband with a ruler laser-engraved into it. If find yourself always needing to measure things when you’re on the go, this is the perfect product for you.
For our second product, we made coasters out of cross-cut Christmas tree trunks. These coasters are upcycled from trees grown, harvested, decorated, and then sliced up, all in the Pacific Northwest.
Come Back Soon!
We got this from someone who visited the shop:
“Sullivan is sad that you are not open today.”
Sorry, Sullivan.
What’d You Get?!
Happy holidays, everyone!
Did either Santa or some non-religious entity just give you an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus? If so, we have just the thing for you. We have been working on refreshing our product line for the newer iPhones, and today we’re excited to announce a few updates.
First off, Paperback is now available for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. We added a larger camera hole to expose the flash, and we divided the notepad into four pads of 20 sheets each, making it easier for you to place a stack of multiple sticky notes on the back of your phone.
While iPhone 6 fits really nicely on our Plank, iPhone 6 Plus and other phablets have outgrown the little shelf. Today we’re releasing the Plank Plus. It’s the same minimal shelf with the same magnetic underside; it’s just a little larger.
